Beginning Tuesday, November 23, the Juneau Public Health Center will be offering COVID-19 vaccines to children ages 5 and older Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through December 30, excluding holidays. Make an appointment junieau.org/vaccine, call 586-6000, or just walk in.
The following COVID-19 vaccinations are available every weekday at Juneau Public Health Center, 3412 Glacier Highway:
- Pfizer Pediatric Vaccine for Children Ages 5-11
- Pfizer vaccine for adults over 12 years
- Pfizer booster for 18 years and older
- Johnson & Johnson Vaccine or Booster for Ages 18 and Over
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last Friday comprehensive COVID-19 booster shot eligibility for all adults. People 18 years and older who have received Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines can receive a booster six months after completing their primary vaccination course.
If you initially received the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, you can receive a Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson booster 6 months or more after the first series. If you initially received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you may receive a Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson booster 2 months or more after the first vaccine.
