SURPRISE stimulus checks worth $500 are sent to three states – here’s how to tell if you’ll receive one of the payments.
Struggling Americans can receive stimulus payments just in time for the holidays, but if you’re not in one of the three states set up to receive checks for $500, you may still be eligible for other payments worth up to $2,000.
Bonus money will be sent to eligible groups residing in 14 states after three direct federal payments totaling up to $3,400 were sent as part of president Joe Biden’s American rescue plan.
It is because a number of states now have their own programs to benefit the people who live there, with each local government deciding who is eligible for a fourth stimulus check and how much they will get.
Here’s what to expect if you live in the following states, including Michigan, Maryland, and Tennessee — the three states that can expect $500 checks.
In Arizona, unemployed residents can take advantage of the state’s return to work program.
Those who return to work part-time are eligible for $1,000. Those who return to full-time employees can get $2,000.
About half of the nine million inhabitants received their checks on October 31, and the remaining checks are sent by post.
A salary of $30,000 to $75,000 per year qualified California residents to receive $600, and $1,100 for those with children under 18.
Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont announced the Back to Work program for $1,000 in stimulus checks, beginning May 30, 2021, and will run through December 31, 2021.
The requirements are more involved in other states detailing when residents filed for unemployment and how long they were unemployed.
Residents must also have found a job to be eligible for the incentive benefit.
In Florida, teachers and principals will receive $1,000 in incentive money for their commitment to education during the pandemic.

In Georgia, teachers and principals will receive $1,000 in incentive money for their commitment to education during the pandemic.
Those living in Idaho may qualify for a one-time income tax rebate.
More than half a million residents received cash – the average check was $248.
residents in Maryland received their state-wide stimulus check in August, only if the individual filed their earned income tax credit.
Individuals received $300, while those with children received $500.
In Michigan, teachers are eligible for $500 in risk premiums.
A check for $1,086 is available to families of three with no income.
For those ineligible for aid in New Mexico in August, an application was made for another round of economic aid on Oct. 12.
The previous payment that low-income households received in August was $750.
Ohio students may be able to receive aid in the form of scholarships worth $46 million.
A total of $13 million has been allocated in federal funding to pay student teachers in Oklahoma.
In Tennessee, officials previously passed legislation in 2021 to pay a $1,000 bonus for full-time public school employees and $500 for part-time public school employees.
The aid is intended to help those who have suffered during the Covid-19 pandemic and to help them get back on their feet.
Meanwhile, though Vermont does not issue an instant payout, the state offers to cover moving costs up to $7,500 for people moving to the state. The caveat is that the individual has to relocate due to unemployment in the hospitality and construction industry.
Elsewhere in the US, Georgia officials dispatched to teachers and other teaching staff in March 2021.
