Croatia restricts travel rules due to new COVID-19 variant

ZAGREB, Nov. 26 (Reuters) – Croatia will restrict several countries’ travel rules due to the new strain of the coronavirus, Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic told reporters on Friday.

“We will ban arrivals from some countries or impose a 14-day quarantine with mandatory tests,” he said.

He said the measure, which refers to arrivals from South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Hong Kong, will be formally taken later on Friday.
