WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Fairfield school district is making a few changes for the rest of this week and next week due to the surge in COVID-19 cases among students and staff.
“COVID has hit us hard at Fairfield among students and staff, and the situation has become untenable as so many adults and students have left due to the rapid spread of the virus,” read a $310 Facebook post. “We are so sorry for the inconvenience to everyone, but we just don’t have enough adults or substitute teachers to maintain a normal school day.
