Yesterday, a delegation from the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Vietnam Homeland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, led by a member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Chairman of Phan Van Mai Municipal People’s Party Committee visited and sent Tet holiday wishes to HCMC Border Guard staff and soldiers.
On behalf of the City Party Committee, the authorities and the people, Chairman Mai stressed the difficulties faced by the city border guards in their mission of border protection and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic throughout the year 2021.
The HCMC Border Guard is one of the front lines in the fight against Covid-19. The socio-economic recovery and development of the city is due to large contributions from the unit.
Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Phan Van Mai demanded that the border guards promote the achievements and carry out their assigned duties in the coming time, especially in the upcoming Tet holiday.
