The tram preceded the existing subway line and was the first fixed link connection between Roosevelt Island and Manhattan. Originally built as an aerial tram, it was reconstructed in 2010 as a dual haul aerial tram.

Aquí tienes los horarios y toda la información. El trayecto en teleférico dura 3 minutos y sobrevuela el East River siguiendo el puente de Queensboro.
